Warriuka Houseboats is owned and managed by Doug and Cheryl Head.  
The company started operating in 1989 and offers boats that range in size
 from 2 to 12 berth.  From the start, its aim has been to help people enjoy 
a relaxing holiday with a difference on the River Murray. Doug and Cheryl 
started coming to Renmark in 1972 for houseboat holidays and eventually
 moved here in 1980, so customer satisfaction and outstanding service is a
 high priority. They know what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on the 
Murray River.
Operating from the Lock 5 Marina at Paringa and also exclusively from the 
Tower Tavern Marina in Renmark (boats with top decks operate from 
Renmark) gives customers the chance to enjoy the peace and tranquility 
of the river above Renmark to the NSW border (approx 120 km of river). 

Wild life abounds in this area and many birds can be seen on a daily basis. 
 The scenery changes constantly with cliffs intermingled with river red gum
 box trees.  Koalas, emus and Kangaroos are a common sight with the odd
 Goanna sometimes seen towards dusk. Try your hand at a spot of fishing 
(lures around fallen trees can sometimes produce good size Golden Perch).

Awaken to the majestic sounds of the River Murray and be greeted by the 
ever  present and often curious wildlife, enjoy the magnificent sunsets and
remark on  the brightness of the stars at night. If you talk to Doug, he may 
be able to point out some not to well known points of interest “along the 
Murray” or just look in the “River Murray Charts” that is on every houseboat.

Warriuka Houseboats also conduct the lifting of the Paringa Bridge.

Inclusive of the house boat hire, all crews will receive lessons prior to 
departure and Doug and Cheryl with ensure that all crew are familiar
 with the boat and the navigation of the River Murray (a Hire and Drive
 Houseboat – Operators Register will need to be completed prior to
 departure).  For seven day hires, free delivery of additional supplies
 can be arranged if required.
Warriuka Houseboats can also hire an aluminium dinghy with motor
 complete  with safety equipment as per Marine and Harbours legislation. 
Canadian Canoes are also for hire.
